Just Paper and Ink
By Rick Kurtis Paper; a product of wood pulp, crushed, bleached, stained, press rolled and cut into pieces. Now it is ready for a multitude of uses from origami, to school work, to burn, wrap or display whatever the mind can dream up. It is made in different shapes, sizes, colors and thicknesses, to increase the infinite possibilities of its use. It holds its shape when folded or bent and when wet, it can be layered together for different shapes, many sizes for display.

FINDING A SOLUTION
BY RICK KURTIS As a Porter, I was watching a person make a blend in a blender. The blender was full and all of a sudden, it started to get lower and lower. I looked at the blender cord, which ran under a carpet, across the floor to the other end and it was covered with the chocolate blend. I went to find the mop to clean it up and I could not find it, so I thought, “I will look in my truck.” Going Home
By Rick Kurtis Everyone thinks about going home. Whether it’s down the block or across the country, they think of what is the best time of the year to visit. Spring, when the cold descends, the rains come and everything comes alive. The start of a new beginning. Summer? The hottest months of the year, packed with bugs and people. Maybe in the fall? When the weather cools off and the night skies are clear. Then there is always winter. Cold and somewhat bitter, but a time of joy and family. BUSY HANDS
